Rosie Ginday

Rosie GindayName: Rosie Ginday

Company: Miss Macaroon

Rosie trained as a high-end pastry chef at University College Birmingham and then worked in Michelin starred restaurant Purnell’s in Birmingham. She decided at a young age that she wanted to fuse her two passions, one her love of pastry and two, her passion to help marginalised young people.  So she created her social enterprise Miss Macaroon early 2011. Through her social enterprise she provides apprenticeships and training in pastry for young people aged 16-25years old including care leavers and ex-offenders in Birmingham. Miss Macaroon, as a business, has now made “close to one million” of the decadent small, circular almond-based cakes.
