National Probation Service London BAME Organisation Survey

Survey deadline extended to 9th April

BTEG has been commissioned by the National Probation Service London (NPS) to support their plans to improve their relationship with BAME-led organisations particularly in relation to commissioning contracts.

NPS is committed to developing a productive and supportive relationship with a network of London-based black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) voluntary and community sector organisations. NPS recognises that there are structural challenges for small service providers securing contracts and through Tier 1 large provider supply chains. There is a renewed determination to ensure its BAME service users to have access to an ethnically diverse range of appropriate specialist services.

As a part of this journey, BTEG is asking BAME-led (African, Caribbean, and Asian descent only) voluntary and charitable organisations to complete a short survey to enable us to develop an organisational map of BAME providers for NPS.  This will allow easy identification of BAME organisations in London that can potentially be commissioned in the future. The survey also seeks to identify your organisational development needs.

The data collected will inform the creation of an NPS BAME organisation commissioning map and identify key organisational support needs.  We think your organisation or those you know are eligible to complete the survey and potentially added to map.

The survey will be live until Friday 9th March, 5.00pm.

The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete and will ask about your organisation, experience with working in the criminal justice sector and any organisational development needs you currently have.
