Horn Stars FC

Hornstars was first established in 1995 with the aim of setting up a football team to engage the local Somali youths who were loitering in around the Harlesden, Stonebridge and Wembley area.

In the early stages was exclusively a Somali Organisation; however in the last few years an evolution process occurred in which, Hornstars has networked vastly with both statutory and voluntary sectors to provide a more inclusive programme and enable a wider user group than that of the past. A result of this evolution is reflected in the large pool of non Somali volunteers and casual workers aswell as the sharp increase of non-Somali young people attending the sessions.
