Beyond Words: an anthology

R2S aims to inspire and motivate young black males from African, Caribbean and mixed origin to reach their full potential in education, employment and self-employment, as well as reduce the number of young black males from re-offending.

We worked with the prisoners at HMP Wayland to raise their aspirations, self-esteem and confidence.

After building up a positive relationship with the staff and prisoners, R2S role model DD Armstrong was invited to deliver his Self Development Through Creative Writing Course. As a result we were able to produce a collection of short stories written by the prisoners.

The resulting book is now available to download.

The book is free to download but please consider making a donation to further the work of R2S.
