Centre for Sustainable Regeneration

BTEG's Centre for Sustainable Regeneration undertakes research and policy development activities to stimulate new inclusive approaches to regenerate deprived neighbourhoods. We seek new ways of encouraging business ideas and business growth and help to tackle skills and employment gaps while working closely with the public and private sectors.

A key focus is on ensuring that Local Area Agreements deliver tangible improvements for BME communities where they are lagging behind the rest of the local population.

Centre for Technical Assistance

It is vital for small third sector organisations to have access to high quality support services. BTEG's experienced technical assistance team delivers training and support to improve the sustainability of organisations so that they are in a stronger position to deliver services in their communities.

Through our organisational assessment tool we are able to identify and then provide bespoke assistance to frontline organisations. Our core areas of support include: business planning, project and financial management, influencing policy development; becoming demand-led organisation and meeting the needs of funders.
