BTEG launches second Leadership & Development programme – Limited spaces

BTEG is now ready to launch the 2nd round of the Leadership & Development programme in a further 3 London boroughs. The first programme is successfully running and supporting groups with issues such as managing change, funding and resource issues, negotiating and problem solving, PR and marketing and operating strategically.

The Home Office has announced a new grant fund to encourage creative new approaches to tackling crime –

the Community action against crime: innovation fund.

Apply for funding now- £1,000- £50,000 available

The application process is now open, and bids for this year are invited until 1 December 2011.

The Great Debate Tour

New Event- with limited places

Elevation Network and Young, Black and Successful CIC have organised

'The Great Debate Tour', a tour targeting black students on University campuses.

Discussing the recent riots, the economy, and youth unemployment

Commencing in October, and running for only 8 weeks.

Media briefing held at the Local Government Information Unit (LGIU) in Euston, on 19th September at 4.30pm.
