The programme was developed as a result of BTEG’s concern about the current economic climate, government decentralisation and the public sector cuts continuing to erode the resilience of the London’s BME civil society organisations.

Research shows that small organisations are more at risk, and on this premise, BTEG is urging these organisations to assess their leadership and management approaches and monitor their organisational performance strategies.

This programme is set at a steady pace using Action Learning to encourage participants to explore and develop their leadership and management practice, through ‘shared learning, reflection and facilitation’.

The second phase to the Leadership and Development training will be held in Brent, Harrow and Ealing, with additional locations to be added in early 2012.
