The Briefing highlights key data and issues concerning Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) participation in the labour market. Labour market opportunities and outcomes remain poorer than average for most BME groups across London.
The Race Equality in Employment Briefings will track changes in the official statistics, highlight issues where action is needed, and present case studies of what is working well to tackle labour market disadvantage for BME people.
With funding support from Trust for London, BTEG will be producing the Race Equality in Employment Briefing regularly throughout 2011 and 2012.
