What is the Centre for Educational Success?

The Centre for Educational Success has been set up by the Black Training and Enterprise Group to improve the educational attainment of children and young people from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds by:

We do this by

• developing partnerships with schools, local authorities, community education providers and national organisations
  
• providing training and training materials
  
• carrying out research to inform local and national policies
  
• involving parents/carers, children and young people, teachers and other stakeholders
  
• holding national and regional events such as conferences and seminars to bring together stakeholders
  
• advising government departments and national bodies on issues of policy
